5 Ways to Repurpose Your Content

Repurposing your content makes good business sense. It’s a good way to squeeze out as much value as possible from your current content. And repurposing also helps your customers by providing fantastic content in a variety of ways.

Here are four ideas to help you repurpose your content.

Use product content to create an autoresponder series – If you have an info product available (for sale or for free), take snippets of that content and turn them into an autoresponder series. The series not only lets your customers preview the content but also promotes the actual product.

Use your website content to create a product – If you have multiple articles or blog posts about one topic, you easily can turn them into a product. Simply choose a collection of articles you’ve previously written, combine them into an ebook or other publication, and make it available for your customers to download. You can use the product as a free giveaway to gain more email subscribers, or you can turn it into an actual product for purchase. Not everyone is likely to look through your entire website to find the content they need. People often will pay for the convenience of having the information at their fingertips without having to search for it.

Publish your newsletter on your website – If you regularly distribute a newsletter, add it to your website each time after you send it. This will help you attract more search engine traffic and will give your customers an archive where they can view all of your previous newsletter issues.

Turn your videos into written content – If you have videos on your website, transcribe them and add them to your website. This gives your customers options, as some people will prefer to read rather than watch a video.

With a little thinking and planning, you can make your content go a long way.
