How To Simplify Your Social Media Marketing Strategies

Social media marketing strategies can get incredibly complicated. There always seems to be so much to do and so little time. However, following these six tips will help you keep it simple:

Know your niche – Where does your audience spend their leisure time on the Internet? You should be targeting those sites. There’s no point in banging away on a social network if the ideal customer in your niche isn’t hanging out there.

Brainstorm hot content – Hot content is the kind of content that will appeal to those in your niche. As you do your niche research, you will probably see the same questions coming up repeatedly. Make a list of them and create content that answers these questions.

Leverage the content you create – Make every piece of content you create work hard for you. One of the best ways to do this is to put your content into more than one format. Turn your blog post into a top ten list, a PowerPoint deck, or a YouTube video to share across your online platforms.

Create a publishing schedule – Consistently publishing content is easy with a scheduler. Don’t publish content on the same topic back to back but spread the wealth, such as posting content once a week about a particular topic that will interest your audience.

Make a daily appointment with social media – Social media can devour your time if you’re not careful. So block out two 30-minute appointments each morning and evening. This helps minimize the danger of getting distracted and wasting hours wandering around online.

Outsource – Once you get things organized, outsource your social media work to a reliable virtual assistant. This will free up your time to build your business in other ways.
